Palm Bay Fire-Rescue Lt. Jim Hamor - who saved the life of a woman who suffered a medical issue behind the wheel in July - was honored as one of 11 firefighters of the year by the Florida state fire marshal's office in ceremonies on Monday and Tuesday in Tallahassee.
